I went with our son Jimmy to adopt a cat, back in July, 2013. He really wanted a black male. When we went into the room with about 30 loose cats, he stood in the middle of the floor and SHE came right over to him.
“This is the one” he said.
She was 8 months old. He took her to his home and she is so friendly and loving, all the neighbors loved her too. Jimmy taught her to fetch a small cat toy.
On March 6th 2014 I had a bad feeling, went to his place and found my 41 yr old son had passed from a massive heart attack. Raven was there with him for about 5 hours before I found him.
There was no question that she was coming to live with my husband and I. She is just the sweetest, most loving cat.
I know she’s missing Jimmy when she visits his picture and urn on the little table. She knows when I’m having a bad day, missing him and she climbs up and lays down to comfort me. I saved her that night and she’s saved me ever since.
