(ANSA) – ISTANBUL, 27 MAG – The panel on artificial intelligence (AI) organised in Istanbul by the Committee of Italians Abroad (Comites), with the patronage of the Consulate General of Italy in the city on the Bosphorus and the support of Esra Omuzluoglu of the Turkish bank Yapi Kredi, which hosted the conference in its headquarters, was a great success with the public. The event, conceived and curated by the Business & Training group led by Comites Vice-President Giusy Alfano, was an important opportunity to discuss the rapid development of AI and its growing impact in the world of work and business.
The session opened with a speech by the President of the Turkish city’s Comites, Emmy Di Gioia, followed by the institutional greetings of the Consul General of Italy in Istanbul, Elena Clemente. The programme continued with a speech by Professor Ozgur Ozluk, Professor of Data Science at Minerva University, who offered a clear and engaging overview of the evolution of generative AI tools. This was followed by a discussion moderated by Rana Birden, featuring experts in the field such as Eren Kantarli, Baris Karakullukcu and Arda Oztaskin. The speakers shared experiences and reflections on the concrete applications of artificial intelligence in their respective professional fields and, more generally, in the labour market, also answering questions from the audience.
