(ANSA) – TUNISI, 22 MAG – On the occasion of World Biodiversity Day, the Marché de l’Agriculture Tunisien opened in Tunis. Thanks to the MAMi – Farmers Markets Project, supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and realised by Ciheam Bari, in collaboration with the World Farmers Markets Coalition and Coldiretti’s Campagna Amica, every Saturday at the headquarters of the Union Tunisienne de l’Agriculture et de la Pêche (Utap) it will be possible to buy fresh, local and seasonal food directly from producers. This was written on its social channels by the Italian Embassy in Tunis, specifying that ‘the launch was celebrated with a culinary evening at the Ambassador’s Residence “La Charmeuse”, with an Italian-Tunisian menu prepared by country chefs Franca Cabras and Piero Ligorio together with Tunisian chef Taha Trad’.
