Her son, veteran filmmaker, Boney Kapoor, released a heartfelt statement on behalf of the family.
Boney Kapoor issues heartfelt statement after Nirmal Kapoor’s death
Film producer, Boney Kapoor, released an official statement on behalf of the Kapoor family to inform the world about Nirmal Kapoor’s demise. Taking to his Instagram, Boney captioned the post with a simple “Maa” followed by a pensive face emoji. The statement, which also included a picture of Nirmal Kapoor from her younger days, read:
“Passed away peacefully on the 2nd of May, 2025, surrounded by her beloved family. She lived a full and joyful life, leaving behind four devoted children, loving daughters-in-law, a caring son-in-law, eleven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a lifetime of treasured memories. Her generous spirit and boundless love touched all who knew her. She will remain in our hearts – forever cherished, forever missed.
