Just before he stepped out in his Maharaja Bhupinder Singh-inspired look, chaos unfolded next door, as Shakira’s dress zipper broke, causing a wardrobe emergency. The unexpected mishap delayed their red carpet plans. Citing the pop icon’s famous 2006 hit, Hips Don’t Lie, Diljit jokingly remarked:
“Shakira ki emergency ki wajah se sada kaam suffer hogaya. But it is okay. Hips don’t lie, and she doesn’t lie (laughs).”
