(ANSA) – ROME, MAR 18 – Europe must remain united to obtain a positive agreement on tariffs, the President of industrial association Confindustria Emanuele Orsini said on Tuesday.
“On tariffs we must remain united in Europe to snatch a positive agreement”, Orsini told the congress “Building a circular economy for a Sustainable and Competitive Europe” at the European Parliament.
Italy, the fourth exporting country in the world, is worried about a trade war and “Europe on these themes must obviously be compact and united to be able to immediately negotiate – obviously, it has the ability to have a free trade towards other countries”, noted Orsini. (ANSA).
