(ANSA) – HANOI, 26 MAG – The Italian Embassy in Hanoi, in collaboration with the National Innovation Centre of Vietnam, has organised the workshop ‘Semiconductor and AI Collaboration Italy-Vietnam’, scheduled for Thursday 29 May at the Hoa Lac Technology Park in Hanoi and also accessible online.
The initiative aims to explore the potential for collaboration between Italy and Vietnam in the strategic sectors of semiconductors and artificial intelligence, fostering dialogue between institutions, research bodies and innovative companies from the two countries.
In an international context marked by a growing focus on technological autonomy and resilience of value chains, the workshop aims to promote partnerships in the field of advanced microelectronics and AI applications for industry.
The workshop will be preceded by a session of B2B meetings between Italian and Vietnamese companies, while the technical segment of the workshop will focus on shared priorities in research and industrial application of emerging technologies, with the contribution of experts from the academic and business worlds of the two countries. The initiative is part of the broader strategy of strengthening the scientific-technological partnership between Italy and Vietnam and will also be an opportunity to celebrate the VIII Italian Research Day in Hanoi.
