(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 20 – Italy registered 720,000 purchases of residential properties in 2024, a rise of 1.3% with respect to the previous year, according to a new report by the Italian inland revenue agency, L’Agenzia delle Entrate.
The report said the combined value of the transactions was 114 billion euros, an increase of over 2.5 billion euros, or 2.3%, compared to 2023.
It said the region with the hottest property market was Lombardy with 151,000 sales. (ANSA).
