Nayanthara starrer, Mookuthi Amman 2‘s grand muhurath event took place on March 6, 2025. The actress was also in attendance, and Vels Films International’s Ishari Ganesh took to the stage and revealed a special preparation Nayanthara was undergoing for the film. He revealed that Nayanthara had been observing a special fast for a few weeks now, ahead of the shooting of Mookuthi Amman 2. Nayanthara took part in this ritual as a homage to the goddess she will be playing in the film.
