Pope still on mechanical ventilation, prognosis guarded

(ANSA) – ROME, MAR 3 – Pope Francis is still on mechanical ventilation as he battled pneumonia in a Rome hospital, and his prognosis remains guarded, a medical bulletin said Monday evening.
“In the afternoon, non-invasive mechanical ventilation was resumed. The Holy Father remained alert, oriented and collaborative. The prognosis remains guarded”, it said. (ANSA).
