Pope’s recovery is slow, bulletins less frequent

(ANSA) – ROME, MAR 14 – Pope Francis’s situation is stable but his recovery from double pneumonia in a Rome hospital, also considering his age, is slow so presumably the next medical bulletin will be issued Saturday evening but the bulletins will likely be less frequent after that, considering the 88-year-old Argentine pontiff’s stability, Vatican sources reported Friday night.
The Pope needs time to recover, the same sources underline, recalling that he does both motor and respiratory physiotherapy every day.
Francis has been in Gemelli Hospital for exactly four weeks.
