Saudia Group has confirmed its role as the Official Airline Partner for the Eighth Edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII), which will be held in Riyadh from October 29 to 31, 2024. This year’s FII operates under the theme “Infinite Horizons: Investing Today, Shaping Tomorrow,” highlighting the Saudia Group’s dedication to promoting major international events hosted within the Kingdom. These gatherings attract top-tier leaders and decision-makers from across the globe.
Attendees at the Future Investment Initiative will have an exclusive opportunity to view Saudia Group’s all-electric jet, developed by Lilium, which will be prominently featured at the event. This innovative aircraft is designed to bolster sustainable aviation, enhance domestic travel, and deliver a premium journey. It aims to connect King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah with Makkah and other holy sites, as well as link various domestic airports to key projects in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
In 2022, during the sixth edition of FII, Saudia Group and Lilium entered a Memorandum of Understanding to acquire all-electric jets. Two years later, in July 2024, Saudia Group finalized a historic agreement in Germany, confirming the largest global order of up to 100 electric aircraft—an unprecedented move in the industry.

The Future Investment Initiative is anticipated to welcome more than 5,000 attendees and 500 speakers, fostering discussions on a diverse range of critical topics, all supported by extensive media coverage. A key attraction of this edition will be Saudia Group’s all-electric aircraft by Lilium, showcased alongside the group’s array of initiatives that harness cutting-edge digital services and artificial intelligence technologies.
