(ANSA) – ROME, MAR 2 – AS Roma rose to a provisional eighth spot in Serie A with a 2-1 comeback win over 10-man Como that left the lakesiders in 13th place Sunday.
Roma are on 43 points, two ahead of ninth-placed AC Milan who entertain fifth-placed Lazio at the San Siro Sunday night.
French attacking midfielder Lucas Da Cunha opened the scoring for Como in the 44th minute only for the Romans to hit back through Belgium winger Alexis Saelemaekers in the 61st minute and hit the front via Ukraine striker Artem Dovbyk in the 76th.
Como had German centre-back Marc-Oliver Kempf sent off in the 63rd minute.
It was the Giallorossi’s fourth straight victory in the Italian top flight. (ANSA).
