Star Alliance has solidified key leadership appointments aimed at sharpening its strategic efforts to deliver a seamless customer experience across its network of member airlines.
Ambar Franco has been appointed as Vice President of Customer Experience at Star Alliance. She will oversee the development and execution of initiatives designed to elevate the entire customer journey, from booking through airport interactions and connecting flights between member airlines, to fostering long-term customer loyalty after their travel. Franco brings a wealth of experience from the travel sector, having recently held senior roles focused on customer experience at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.
Luc Lachoix takes on the role of Vice President of Digital & Technology. He will manage Star Alliance’s IT infrastructure, operations, and security while also supporting the digital needs of the alliance’s customer experience and loyalty divisions. Lachoix brings a rich background in the airline and travel technology industries, having held key leadership roles at Amadeus and Sabre.
Renato Ramos has been appointed as Vice President of Strategy. He is tasked with driving Star Alliance’s strategic projects, business planning, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. Ramos has been with Star Alliance for the past seven years, previously serving as Director of Loyalty. His aviation expertise stems from his experience with airlines such as Avianca and LATAM.
Gayatheri Silvakumer joins as Vice President of People and Culture, where she will lead the implementation of the alliance’s human resources strategy, focusing on talent retention and organizational growth. She brings extensive experience in senior HR roles across multiple industries, including positions at McCann Worldgroup, Bombardier, and Rolls-Royce.
