Earlier, the minister inaugurated new buildings at Thanjavur Medical College Hospital, including a master health checkup centre built at Rs 5 crore, a 28-bed pay ward unit at Rs 1.34 crore and a multi-speciality clinic for transgender people at Rs 15 lakh.
