The fifth day and final day of the 2025 Jiu-Jitsu World Championship in Bangkok showcased an exceptional display of skill, precision, and national pride as the world’s elite athletes battled across Show, Duo, fighting and Jiu-Jitsu categories. Competitors from more than 60 nations brought energy and emotion to the mats, with the host nation Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, and Italy delivering standout performances.

Jiu-Jitsu Discipline: UAE on Top Once Again

The United Arab Emirates National Team continued its impressive momentum, leading the Adults Jiu-Jitsu ranking with six gold medals, two silver, and two bronze, reaffirming its global dominance in the sport.

Canada followed in second place with two golds and two bronze medals, while the Philippines secured third position with two golds. Kazakhstan, France, and Saudi Arabia also featured strongly on the podium.

In the Adults Duo & Show divisions, host nation Thailand thrilled the home crowd with captivating routines and technical mastery, earning five gold and two silver medals, securing first place in the overall rankingItaly and Montenegro followed closely with consistent performances across both Duo and Show events.

Show Men’s Category Highlights

Thailand continued its strong showing with Warut Netpong and Charatchai Kitpongsri securing gold in the Show Men’s division, followed by Italy’s Ensabellia and Molino taking silver, and Austria and Romania sharing the bronze honors.

 
Men’s Jiu Jitsu discipline : UAE Athletes Excel

UAE fighters maintained top form in the individual heavy categories:

 •    Saeed Alkubaisi triumphed in the -85kg,
•    Abdullah Ahmad Ruzaik dominated in the -94kg division.

Their victories consolidated UAE’s lead in the overall Jiu-Jitsu standings.
