There has been another incident of murder that has come from Uttar Pradesh where a wife got her husband killed 15 days after her marriage so that she could reunite with her ex-boyfriend. The alleged case took place in Auraiya district, where 22-year-old, Pragati Yadav reportedly got her husband, 25-year-old Dilip Yadav, killed.

The report by ETV Bharat revealed that Deepak hailed from Nagla Deepa village, where the Bhogaon police station area came in Mainpuri. It was on March 5, 2025, that he married Pragati, and on March 19, 2025, two weeks after the marriage, Deepak was found critical in a wheat-laden farm. When he was taken to the hospital, he was declared dead, and his post-mortem report revealed that he was killed with a 315-bore pistol. During the investigation, police officials came to know of the conspiracy hatched by Dilip’s newly wedded wife and her boyfriend, Anurag, with whom she had been in a relationship for the last four years. Now, SP Abhijeet R Shankar revealed to the media that Pragati was not happy and was forced to get married. He said in a media statement:
“She was in love with Anurag for the last four years but Pragati’s family did not agree to the relationship.”
