(ANSA) – ROME, AUG 4 – INAIL said Monday that 495 work-related deaths were reported to it in the first half of this year, up from 462 in the equivalent period in 2024.
The labour-accidents-and-illness-insurance agency said the rise was driven by an increase in the number of fatal accidents involving workers in the journey to or from the workplace, which went from 104 to 137.
