My mother made these cookies for Christmas
all though my childhood, and long after. She always just called them Christmas cookies, but
when I started sharing them with friends, I decided they needed a name. This is the most basic of cookie recipes and
is extremely easy to make. You can get the kids involved.
Note that the dough needs at least an
overnight in the fridge before slicing
