(ANSA) – ROME, FEB 17 – Prefects and police chiefs attending a national conference in Rome on Monday have been urged to increase the repatriation of irregular migrants, according to well-informed sources.
The strong call to boost the repatriation of illegal migrants was issued during the Conference of Italian prefects and police chiefs, along the guidelines of the government’s policies to fight irregular migration, the sources said.
