(ANSA) – ROME, FEB 24 – Carabinieri police said Monday that they have arrested seven people over the alleged systematic abuse of elderly residents at a nursing home in Dizzasco, in the province of Como.
They said two of the suspects have been detained in prison while the other five were under house arrest.
The Carabinieri said “systematic violence” had become a “working habit” at the rest home with “beatings, insults… and physical and psychological humiliation” of residents. (ANSA).
