When Irrfan Khan's Son, Babil, Revealed Of Locking Himself In Room For Months After 'Baba's' Death

It has been five years since Babil Khan lost his baba, Irrfan Khan, to cancer. It was not easy for the young Babil to deal with the loss of his father, with whom he was extremely close. His world turned upside down when Babil’s shadow, Irrfan, left the world, and for the young actor, it was challenging to process that his baba was no more. The Qala actor once spoke about how he had locked himself in the room for months after his dad passed away.

When Babil Khan shared that he locked himself in the room for months after his baba, Irrfan Khan, passed away

Babil once sat down for an interview with Bollywood Bubble and shared that the day his baba, Irrfan, passed away, he did not believe it. He thought he was mature enough to handle the grief. At that time, he realised he was still a child. The next day, subtle feelings of one week had passed, and it hit there, and then he went into a bad spiral. Babil shared:

“I locked myself in the room for one and a half month. One of those things was you get up to tell baba something and then you realise in these subtle ways that he is not there anymore. He used to shoot so much that sometimes he used to go for a long shoot and eventually he would come back. So when it first happened, I had somehow convinced myself ki he will come back after the shooting schedule and then I slowly started realising that this is an indefinite shooting schedule.”
