The story revolves around the real story of India’s daughter, Uzma Ahmed, who claimed to have been forced by a Pakistani man, Tahir Ali to marry him. Uzma’s story in a nutshell shows how an Indian girl fell in love with a Pakistani man, trusted him, and went to Pakistan only to be tortured. The Diplomat, J.P. Singh helped her to get back to India. Uzma Ahmed’s Pakistani husband, Tahir Ali’s counter-claimed her allegations
In an interview dated back to 2017, Tahir Ali denied the allegations against him by Uzma Ahmed. In an interview with Newslaundry, Tahir said that Uzma came to Pakistan on May 1, 2017, and two days later, they tied the knot. While Uzma said she was tortured by Tahir, the latter stated that no problems took place in the days when Uzma stayed with his family in Buner. In Tahir Ali’s words:
“She came to Pakistan on May 1, 2017 and on May 3 we got married. She stayed in Buner for three days with my family and during these three days there was no untoward incident.”
