Vortex Poppy T-Shirt Honors Veterans
Vortex has recently introduced a limited-edition T-shirt to benefit veterans and the VFW. The Vortex Poppy Short Sleeve T-shirt honors veterans and was released on May 6, 2025. All proceeds support the Stoughton VFW in Wisconsin. Vortex recently donated $5,000 to the VFW through Rob Drogsvold, the 2024 ‘Spirit of Service’ award recipient, who highlighted his friendship with Vortex and its positive impact on the veteran community. The Spirit of Service
initiative awards $5,000 to a veteran’s chosen cause each year, based on community nominations and viewer voting. If you are wondering why poppies? Here are a few lines from the famed John McCrae poem, In Flanders Fields:
In Flanders fields the poppies blow,
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely signing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
