Mumtaz shares she made her husband wait for two years before marrying him
Mumtaz tied the knot with Mayur Madhvani in 1974, but only after a two-year delay, as she wished to exit the film industry before settling down. In a recent interview with Filmibeat, the Upaasna actress shared that Mayur patiently waited while she finished her professional commitments. Mumtaz revealed it took her two years to complete her pending films and return the signing amounts for nearly four to five projects. In her words:
“It took my husband to wait for two years till I finished my signing thing, signing amount maine wapas kiya… kitni picturein maine chhor di.”
