(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 4 – Dozens of prisoners rioted in Genoa’s Marassi Prison on Wednesday, local officials said.
They reportedly took over a section of the facility and caused disturbances, injuring one warder, the officials said. Several ambulances drove to the scene, along with police.
Prison officers changed into riot gear while other police moved into position outside Marassi, waiting to see it they woulf be needed. (ANSA).
