Veteran actor, Prem Chopra, was admitted to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital a while back. Now, his son-in-law, Sharman Joshi, shared details related to the same. Sharman, a while back, took to his Instagram handle to reveal details related to the health condition of his father-in-law, which left fans worried for the same. Sharman now revealed that Prem was diagnosed with severe Aortic Stenosis, and for the same, he had to undergo a TAVI procedure, which basically narrowed the aortic valve without having to do an open-heart surgery.

Prem Chopra’s son-in-law, Sharman Joshi, shares the latest health update on the veteran actor’s health condition

Sharman Joshi took to his Instagram handle to share a picture of Prem Chopra with the team of doctors. The 3 Idiots actor wrote that on behalf of his family, he would like to express his heartfelt gratitude and admiration for the exemplary treatment that his father-in-law, Mr. Prem Chopra, received from esteemed cardiologist Dr. Nitin Gokhale and interventional cardiologist Dr. Ravinder Singh Rao. Sharman shared the latest update on his father-in-law’s current health condition and said:

“Dad was diagnosed with severe Aortic Stenosis, and Dr. Rao successfully performed the TAVI procedure, replacing the valve without open-heart surgery. Dr. Gokhale’s consistent guidance at every step gave us immense confidence. Their expertise ensured a smooth procedure, complication-free treatment and a fast recovery. Dad is now home and feeling much better. We will always be thankful for the exceptional support and care he received.”
