Over 40 Shelter Dogs Land in New Jersey to Start New Life

On January 13, 41 dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds boarded our first Flight to Freedom of the year headed to New Jersey. They will get the second chance they deserve thanks to your generous support.

14 of the dogs are asymptomatic heartworm positive and will continue their treatment in their new shelters before being put up for adoption.

Tails never stopped wagging as the dogs were greeted by staff and volunteers as they were unloaded from the plane. They will be transported back to shelters and get ready to meet adopters.

St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center, one of the receiving shelters, shared photos of the dogs taking their first steps in New Jersey.

Your donations are changing and saving lives. These dogs who were taken from overcrowded shelters were at risk of euthanasia due to lack of space, resources, and adopters. They will get to live a long, happy life in a loving home, and that is what every shelter dog wishes for.

Help us fly more shelter dogs to freedom by donating towards next month’s flight. Every dollar helps!
