Time to circle those calendars, Penn State football fans. The 2026 Blue-White game is officially set for Saturday, April 25.
Well, the date is about the only thing that’s set in stone so far. This will, obviously, be the first spring game of the Matt Campbell era, so things may look a bit different. The roster has had plenty of turnover, so the team’s health and depth will likely be the biggest factor in determining the format of the weekend. James Franklin ended up opting for more of an open practice than an actual game in the last few years of his tenure.
Campbell, however, did recently highlight the importance of still doing a Blue-White event with all the new faces in town. During his February 4 presser, he mentioned that he wanted the new guys playing in front of Penn State fans in Beaver Stadium before the season actually starts. For the Iowa State transfers, their new stadium can hold over 40,000 more people than the old one.
