guidance from registered nutritionist <a href="https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/author/kerrytorrens" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kerry Torrens</a>.Sea moss supplements are difficult to compare using dosage alone. Some labels state the physical quantity of an extract, while others advertise the much larger quantity of raw sea moss the extract is said to be equivalent to. A product labelled as providing 1,200mg equivalent, for example, may contain a much smaller quantity of concentrated extract.Unlike vitamins and minerals with recognised daily reference values, there is no established evidence-based daily dose of sea moss.
