(ANSA) – ROMA, 29 MAG – The Italian Ambassador to the Netherlands, Augusto Massari, participated in a symposium on Pietro Bembo, promoted by the Italian Department of Leiden University.
In his speech, the ambassador emphasised the centrality of the Italian language as a vehicle of memory, culture and dialogue between peoples. The choice of Leiden University, where Italian has been taught since the 16th century, as the venue for this academic event was particularly significant.
