(ANSA) – ROME, MAR 2 – The prices of Italy’s traditional Carnival treats frappe and castagnole have risen 6-8% this year due to a 20% rise in the price of butter and a 10% rise in the price of chocolate, consumer group Codacons said Sunday.
But it said sales appear to have been “unaffected” by the hikes.
