Cats hate going to the vet and will do whatever they can to avoid it, even squeezing themselves into tight and dangerous places.

Despite the cat’s best efforts to avoid the vet, that is exactly where it went after being freed. The cat was unharmed and received its annual checkup.
Ways to Reduce Stress Going to Vet with Cat

Going to the vet is stressful for cats, but there are a few things you can do to help make it more comfortable.
- Leave the carrier out and make it a safe space for them with their favorite blanket and tasty treats.
- Lightly spray blanket with synthetic pheromones to help your cat relax.
- Keep calm yourself and talk to your cat in a soothing voice.
