Charlie Kirk was shot dead on September 10, 2025, at Utah Valley University (Orem, Utah), during his “America Comeback Tour”. About 20 minutes into his speech, the prominent American conservative activist was shot in the neck when he was sharing his views on school shootings. As per the early reports, the bullet came from a building rooftop that was 200 yards away, and the place has been identified as UVU’s Losee Centre.

The authorities present at the scene immediately rushed an injured Charlie Kirk to the Timpanogos Regional Hospital, but unfortunately, he died due to the severe neck injury. After the unfortunate incident, Utah Valley University locked down the entire campus and cancelled all classes. While Utah Governor, Spencer Cox shared his disappointment over Charlie Kirk’s death, he labelled it as “political assassination”. Not only this, FBI director, Kash Patel assured the public that there was one “person of interest” who was briefly in custody but later released.
