Damiano David releases Talk to Me feat. Tyla, Nile Rodgers

(ANSA) – ROME, SEP 5 – Former Maneskin frontman Damiano David is releasing his latest solo single, Talk to Me, featuring Tyla and Nile Rodgers.
David, 26, who went solo last year, said it will be out September 12.
The single is a collaboration with Tyla, winner of a Grammy Award¸ for Best African Music Performance 2024, and legendary multi-Grammy Award¸ winner Nile Rodgers.
Damiano said: “Lately, and with the tour approaching, a new wave of inspiration has arrived.
‘Talk to Me’ was born that way, but what made it special for me was knowing that Nile Rodgers wanted to work on the song and enhance it with his guitar.
Also, while I was writing it, I always imagined it as a duet.
Lately, I’ve been listening to Tyla’s ‘Water’ a lot; I really like her voice, so I wanted her to sing it with me. This double validation from two artists I admire is very meaningful to me.” Regarding her collaboration with Damiano, Tyla said: “I’m so happy about this collaboration with Damiano and Nile.
“Making this song together was fun and very inspiring; it’s beautiful to see how our styles came together to create something so fresh and exciting. We experimented, shared ideas, and the song came together very naturally.” Guitar legend Rodgers also commented on this collaboration: “When I received the song from Damiano and Tyla, I really loved the vibe it gave me and wanted my guitar to be the third voice on this track. ‘Talk To Me’ was a really fun project to work on!” This single follows Funny Little Fears, an album certified in nine countries and already boasting over 800 million global streams, whose long-form video earned a nomination for the 2025 VMAs, as well as a nomination for Best Push Performance for the song “Next Summer.” After a short tour of the most important summer festivals, the 2025 World Tour will kick off next week, which will see the artist perform over 30 dates in Europe, Australia, North America, South America, and Asia.
