A while ago, Shoaib Ibrahim revealed Dipika, who was breast-feeding their son, Ruhaan, fell severely ill during the weaning-off phase. The actress was hospitalised due to it, and while she is back, she has been preparing for her surgery, which is said to be scheduled this week. Now, Dipika shared their first post as she talked more about her tumour and how they found out it is second-stage cancer.

On May 27, 2025, Dipika took to her Instagram handle and shared her first post, as she shared details about her tumour diagnosis in a picture note. The actress revealed that her life was turned upside down when she went to the hospital for pain in her stomach and found out about her tennis ball-sized tumour, and now, recent tests have discovered that it is second-stage malignant (cancerous). The post can be read as:
“As you all are well aware last few weeks have been quite difficult for us. Walking into the hospital for pain in the upper area of my stomach, and then finding out its a tennis ball-sized tumour in the liver and then finding out that the tumour is the second stage Malignant (cancerous). It has been one of the most difficult times, we have seen, experienced.”
