Responding to the burgeoning trend of remote work within the travel sector, Trevolution Group—a preeminent force in the global travel market that owns and operates brands such as ASAP Tickets, Skylux Travel, Oojo, and Triplicity—has expanded its Independent Travel Manager platform, Dreamport, to an international scale. Initially, Dreamport received applications from over 250,000 individuals aspiring to venture into travel freelancing, with a significant number hailing from Nigeria, Pakistan, and India.
Launched initially in India and Uzbekistan in April 2023, Dreamport later extended trials to Egypt, Nigeria, and Pakistan in early 2024, demonstrating significant success. This promising outcome has led to the platform’s expansion, now accessible to potential freelancers from over 200 countries worldwide. This move aims to foster and connect a new generation of Independent Travel Managers globally. With escalating global interest, Trevolution Group anticipates a surge in applications in the coming months.
Currently, freelancers from more than 50 countries have completed Dreamport’s training and are actively generating income while establishing their own travel enterprises. Since its inception, Dreamport has facilitated over 200,000 ticketing requests to nearly a thousand destinations worldwide. Notably, in 2024, the US and Canada emerged as prime departure locations, with Nigeria, India, the Philippines, Ghana, and Italy gaining popularity as top destinations for leisure and visiting friends and relatives (VFR).
Dreamport offers a robust digital platform tailored for aspiring travel managers, providing comprehensive, free training encompassing marketing, customer service, and industry-specific standards and tools. Independent Travel Managers on Dreamport are tasked with delivering superior customer service and sourcing optimal travel solutions tailored to individual preferences.
“Through Dreamport, we are not just responding to the surging demand for freelance work; we are building a global network of Independent Travel Managers, equipped with specialized tools to grow as one-stop travel experts. Our mission is to train and empower these professionals, so they can deliver exceptional travel experiences to our wide customer base without geographical limitations. I am particularly excited to see strong interest from Nigeria and India, where growth-focused travel professionals are joining us in large numbers. This is a significant step toward transforming the travel industry and making it more accessible for everyone,” Alex Weinstein, founder of Dyninno Group and Trevolution Group comments.
Under Trevolution Group, brands like the International Travel Network and others have carved a niche in the VFR segment, with the conglomerate ranking as the fourth-largest airline ticket consolidator in the US in 2023, moving over 840,000 unique tickets and vacation packages.
