Jaya Bhattacharya reveals on playing ‘SI Vimla’ next to Shefali Shah as ‘DIG Vartika Chaturvedi’

Jaya Bhattacharya, earlier on her Instagram handle, had shared that being a part of Delhi Crime Season 3 felt like a chance to pause, reflect, and also try a new style of acting. The actress as ‘SI Vimla Bharadwaj’ was seen single-handedly ruling the series. During an exclusive interview with BollywoodShaadis, the actress was asked about her equation with Shefali Shah, ‘DIG Vartika Chaturvedi’ a.k.a ‘Madam Sir.’ ‘SI Vimla’ a.k.a Jaya spoke at length about her role and shared:

“She’s underdog child. I am one of the junior officers don’t have much to command. But the point is every shoulder holds a responsibility, be it in any field. When that comes up it is every person’s duty to rise up to it, take command and deliver. Be it acting or anywhere. That is what Vimla did. She is trained in a different way. She is trained to look out for children. Anything against children she will take the opportunity to command.”
