(ANSA) – TUNISI, 28 MAG – “A possible new project to offer employment opportunities in Italy for Tunisian workers in the catering sector” was at the centre of the discussion in Tunis between a delegation of the Italian Federation of Public Establishments (Fipe), led by its director general Roberto Calugi, accompanied by the Italian ambassador to Tunisia, Alessandro Prunas, and the Tunisian ministers of Labour, Riad Chaoued, and Tourism, Sofiane Tekaya. This was announced by the Italian Embassy in Tunis on its social channels. At the end of the meeting,’ it was agreed to develop a joint Tunisia-Italy cooperation programme in the tourism, hotel and restaurant (Horeca) sectors, to begin identifying the Italian labour market’s needs for specialised skills and expertise in the sector, and to develop the guidelines for a framework cooperation agreement defining these skills needs and the methodology to meet them,’ reads a note from the Tunisian Labour Ministry.
