About 18 months ago I thought it was time to adopt my very first dog. I was searching for over a year to find the “one” and I had seen hundreds of pictures of sweet dogs of any age. When the picture of him, he was named Cream at the time, appeared on my computer screen I knew I had to meet him.
I drove over an hour to get to where he was kept. As soon as I saw him it was love at first sight; and he leaned on me knowing he was going home. He was 1.5 years old and was left locked in an empty house with no food or water god knows for how long.
I took him home immediately. At first he was afraid of doors, loud noises, men, water, you name it! Now, 1.5 year later he is a happy gorgeous 66 pound baby who smiles when I enter the house and makes smile all the time!
