(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 19 – One person died and several were hurt in a crash between a lorry and a school bus carrying elementary pupils near Como on Monday.
The accident happened around 4:30 pm along the Pedemontana, at Lomazzo (Como), in the section that passes through a tunnel under the hamlet of Manera.
According to an initial reconstruction, the accident involved a truck and a school bus carrying elementary school children.
One dead, two red codes and 25 green ones.
There are no serious injuries among the children. 118 vehicles and firefighters on site.
The A36 motorway is closed to traffic. (ANSA).
