In a recent conversation with Suma, Rashmika Mandanna opened up about her past relationship. She mentioned that the characters in her film, The Girlfriend, ‘Vikram’, ‘Durga’ and ‘Bhooma’ do exist in real life. She then drew parallels between her real life and her character, ‘Bhooma’, and shared that, once, just like ‘Bhooma’, she was in a relationship with no choice. She explained that staying in a relationship with a partner is not the main thing; being happy in that relationship should be the utmost priority. She was quoted as saying:
“Choose who you want to be with. You shouldn’t be in a position where you have no choice but you’re with a partner. I have done that. Today, when I choose to be with a person, I am happy, that person is happy, everyone around is happy.”
