And this friendship of theirs dates back to 1995, when they both played brothers in Karan Arjun. Recently, choreographer Chinni Prakash revealed how, while filming the movie, both the actors joined hands to beat up men misbehaving with girls on the set.

Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan beat up men who were teasing girls on the set of Karan Arjun, says Chinni Prakash

Choreographer, Chinni Prakash, who was the brains behind the dance of the iconic song, ‘Bhangda Paale‘ of Karan Arjun, shared anecdotes about the 1995 film, in an interview with Friday Talkies. He also shared a lot of memories about the two main leads, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan who were emerging as the superstars of the generation. Chinni shared an instance where Shah Rukh and Salman beat up some of the men of the village where they were shooting after they eve-teased the girls working on the film set. Chinni recalled:

“During the shoot, one of the villagers started teasing girls on the set. Salman got very angry. Shah Rukh picked up lathis and started beating them. A big fight started. Then Salman, me and Shah Rukh, we took the girls in a van and took them to the hotel.”
