S&P says Italy growth 0.6% in 2025, 0.8% in 2026

(ANSA) – ROME, SEP 23 – The Italian economy is expected to grow by 0.6% this year, 0.8% in 2026, and 0.9% the following year, according to S&P’s latest Eurozone Economic Outlook, which forecasts growth for the euro area of ;;1.1% for the first two years and then 1.4% in 2027.
Germany, stagnating at a modest 0.2% in 2025, is expected to accelerate thanks to its massive defense and infrastructure investment plan, to 1.1% and 1.6% in the following two years.
