Springfield Armory is known for a lot of things: 1911s, AR-15s, M1As, and lots of other polymer handguns. A niche that they have settled into in recent years has been bolt-action rifles with their Model 2020 series of firearms. Today, they have announced a new bolt-action in their all-new Model 2020 Heatseeker.

The modern hunter doesn’t always want to have a traditionally-styled, bolt-action rifle. We want M-LOK sections, AICS magazines, carbon fiber barrels, and infinite adjustability. The Springfield Armory Model 2020 Heatseeker delivers all of that in a Coyote Brown colorway while being chambered for 6.5 Creedmoor and .308 Winchester. Final Thoughts
The new Springfield Armory Model 2020 Heatseeker is set to be a limited release rifle over the course of this summer (or, until they sell out of their initial production).
