Consequently, everyone was left shocked in February when rumours about Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s possible divorce started doing rounds on the internet. The actor didn’t give a clear reply on the same, while his lawyer confirmed that they had filed for separation but reconciled. However, Sunita later denied the claims which left the fans confused. In a new interview, Sunita Ahuja once again hinted towards starring in her marriage with Govinda, which has left the fans concerned.Â
Sunita Ahuja claims she won’t let anyone take Govinda from her
Sunita Ahuja recently sat down for an interview with Deccan Talks With Asif. During the conversation, she recalled that her father wasn’t on board for her wedding with Govinda. Consequently, he didn’t attend their wedding, and she went ahead with it anyway because she was in love with Govinda. Sunita revealed that her father wanted her to be a businessman and chose a boy from Holland, but since she was in love, she didn’t agree to it. Recalling the same, she said:
“He never wanted me to marry Govinda. He didn’t even come to my wedding. He knew what goes around in the film industry, he wanted me to marry a businessman. He had even selected a boy for me in Holland, but mera pyaar sacha tha. I was 15 years old when I held Govinda’s hand. That childhood love is like that; we both loved each other a lot.”
