Wynn’s score taps into the series’ legacy of inventive suspense with a bold, modern orchestral palette, with a few nods to the late Shirley Walker’s theme from the original trilogy. The music combines chilling textures with rhythmic drive and sudden, jarring hits designed to keep audiences on edge.

“I’m incredibly grateful to Erin Scully and Jenifer O’Malley at New Line for their support in recording the Final Destination: Bloodlines score in L.A.,” said Wynn. “It was important to me to record the full orchestra together to capture the energy and emotion I was after. There’s nothing quite like the sound of 80 of the world’s best musicians playing as one ensemble.”

The sessions brought together a strong creative team, including orchestrators Michael J. Lloyd and Andrew Kinney, and scoring mixer Damon Tedesco. Producers Craig Perry and Sheila Taylor, as well as co-directors Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein, were also on hand to oversee the process and fine-tune the film’s sonic atmosphere.

Final Destination: Bloodlines has emerged as a major box office success, grossing over $186.9 million worldwide within its first two weeks of release. This impressive performance makes it the highest-grossing installment in the franchise to date. Complementing the film’s success, Wynn’s score was released digitally by Lakeshore Records and can be purchased here.
