When Shahid was promoting his movie, Jersey, in an interaction with Kamya Jani, he shared that there was a tough fight between Pankaj and Mira. This is because they have their own set of strengths in the kitchen. According to the actor, his dad is an excellent cook but Mira has an upper hand on it. He also shared that there are some dishes in which Pankaj surpasses Mira and takes charge. In his words:
“It’s a tough fight. My dad is a really good cook, but I think Mira kind of pips him. Although in some dishes my dad will pip Mira. But it’s a tough one, they both are very good cook.” He further added, “But she does not cook. Atleast if I tell my dad ki kuch bana do toh woh shayad bana denge, Mira ko toh 2 mahine tak peeche bhaagna padhta hai.”
