Singhal conducted a thorough review of the health and family welfare department’s operations at Janata Bhawan. During the subsequent press conference, he stated, “Since last month, in Jan and Feb, around 43 lakh people were screened for TB and of them 4,000 new cases have been detected. There are being given necessary treatment.”
