Kalabhavan Navas was a famous Malayalam actor, comedian and mimic. He was known for his acting skills in the Malayalam film and television industries. Kalabhavan began his career with stage mimicry, and then moved on to the world of cinema and shows. Beginning with the popular Kalabhavan troupe, Kalabhavan used to mimic Malayalam actors and politicians with uncanny accuracy, and he was loved widely for the same. However, it was on August 1, 2025, when his fans were shattered with the heartbreaking news of his passing.
Kalabhavan Navas passed away at the mere age of 51, he was found dead in his hotel room
If a report by PTI is to be believed, Kalabhavan Navas was staying in a hotel in Chottanikkara, Kochi, for the film, Prakambanam’s shoot in the last few days. However, on August 1, 2025, he was about to check out of his hotel room, when he didn’t check out of his hotel room long after the scheduled time, it raised concerns. Following this, a hotel staff member headed towards the hotel room and found him in an unconscious state. Kalabhavan was then reportedly taken to the nearby hospital, where he was declared dead, as per the police.
